After buying three new swimsuits for my 11-day trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, (beginning Aug. 11th), my focus has turned to bellies. Svelt ones, small ones, rolly ones and painted ones, stretchy ones and sexy ones, hairy ones and scary ones! We suck them in and tuck them in. We hide them or deprive them. We flatten them or fatten them. We shake them or bake them.
Usually, bellies get a bad wrap. Well, not mine. Not anymore. This summer, while I’m in Hawaii (2,500 miles away from anyone I know, mind you- ha!), I’m losing the old one-piece bathing suit and telling my belly, “You’re beautiful!”
Afterall, my belly is just another beautiful belly in the broad belly spectrum of humanity. Here’s to bellies!

Hey, Laronda ~
You have a GREAT time in Hawaii!
I love to rub on bellies, especially, the pregnant ones. The bellies you showed us in your post showed a lot of history that is part of all of us and we should all embrace them. They are beautiful, no matter what.

ENJOY Hawaii! You’ll love it. The water is so clear!
I still want to go back there again after visiting there years ago.
