“Hello lampost, whatcha knowin?

Ain’tcha got no rhyme for me?
Dootin-doo-doo-doo
Feelin’ groovy”~ Simon and Garfunkle ~
There is so much negativity in our lives today being pumped at us through media, marketing, d/Deaf/Hearing cultural conflicts, or communication breakdown. It can really make a person feel down. So what does a person do?
Make choices!
I’m choosing a path with heart. Life for me right now is about feeling groovy, focusing on the positive, feeling grateful and making others feel good. In my thoughts, words and actions, I am choosing heartshine! Spreading LOVE and feeling groovy!
In an effort to generate grooviness, I would like to invite you all to add 3 things to my brief list below of things that make you feel groovy. Just leave your thoughts in the text or video comment box.
That’s it!
Thanks For Taking Part.
My short list of things that make me feel groovy:
1. Falling in love at least 3 times a day.
2. Belly laughs.
3. A hot shower with scented soap.
4. Taking a spontaneous drive on a pretty mountain road and seeing where it leads….
5. Sharing a good conversation with someone special.
6. Rocking out and dancing to my own inner music.
7. Having someone tell me that I’m beautiful.
8. Kissing.
9. Making new d/Deaf/HH/Late-Deaf/Hearing friends and spending time with old ones.
10. Late night talks with a friend that keep me from sleeping.
What about you?

‘Just looking and marveling at my 2 great-grandsons, who are 5 months and 3 years old. I think: “If not for me, these children would not be here”. In fact, I think THAT each time I get together with my children and their children and THEIR children. I have left something to posterity. It is truly amazing and I am awed each time I see these two little boys! God willing, I will live to see THEIR children!
I don’t feel “groovy”, I feel in awe. I no longer feel the need to feel “groovy”. I am there, I have arrived and if it did not work, it is too late now!

1. Hanging out with my cats while they are being at one with nature.
2. Cooking something wonderful that I can share with my family.
3. Saying things like “I love you,” “thank you,” “please,” and, yes, “that’s so cool/beautiful,” which, I guess, is a version of “groovy!”
