Enter a world of magical fantasy and imagine with me…..
Transcript:
Hi! You know what? I love Magic, Fantasy and Fairies! (You know, the kind that use wands and grant wishes.)
I’m remembering the Disney movie, “Sleeping Beauty.” Why am I thinking about that particular movie? I was recently taking a rather long nap when suddenly, I woke to find my husband tapping me saying, “Get up. C’mon, wake up! You’ve been sleeping tooooo long.”
Ah, what can I say…. I guess I’ve had too much eye-goggling at the computer because I’m so hooked to DeafRead! My heavens! Anyway…..
I was just thinking about Sleeping Beauty and remembering my favorite part at the beginning of the movie when the 3 fairies bestow their blessings on the baby princess.
The King and the Queen have invited all the people in the kingdom to come and see the new baby princess, and give her blessings that she would grow up with. All the people in the kingdom came with warm hearts to admire the baby. Then came the 3 fairies to bestow their blessings.
The first fairy gave the baby the gift of “beauty.” She would grow up with a beautiful presence and beautiful features.
The second fairy gave the baby a beautiful voice and the gift of song. She would sing just lovely and make beautiful music in her songful voice.
The third fairy was ready to bestow her blessing when all of the sudden, in whooshed the evil witch fairy, “Malificent!” (I love that name by the way - it’s very evil looking! Whoo!)
Malificent entered the chamber looking like… (hmmmm….) …well, she was NOT happy.
“I’ve come to give the new infant my blessings as well,” she sinisterly decreed.
Yet, deep inside, the enchantress was jealous and angry that she had not been invited. So, that evil fairy gave the baby a curse, saying,
“When the child grows to the age of 16, she will see a spinning wheel and prick her finger on the needle and die!”
Oh! The people in the kingdom were shocked and devistated. “No! No! Noooo!”
Then as quick as she came, Malificent was gone in a flash!
But it just so happened that the third fairy had not yet given her wish. “Wait!, she said. “I shall give her my magic blessing that will break Malificent’s spell. Instead of death, the princess will only sleep until a prince comes to awaken her with his kiss.”
With this, the people of the kingdom were relieved.
Anyway, you know the story. It goes on and on….
But this story made me think of a new idea for a vlog topic! 
What is it?
Imagine… a new DEAF baby is born in our kingdom… our DeafRead kingdom… and you are all invited to bestow your blessings or give 3 wishes to that baby princess or prince. What 3 blessings or wishes would you give to that new DEAF baby?

cute story… make me think a real Deaf prince live in beautiful kingdom and invited all Deaf people live in this kingdom.
